Semiomantics

Semiomantics

Based on the most recent developments on WordPress and the release of Buddypress, Joe cettina from New York has decided to develop his own network powered by Semiomantics. We are proud that Joe has chosen us to build his servers and site.

Ceguna powered by Semiomantics

With the development of YORGOO Media, semiomantics has acquired experience with WordPress Multi-user sites as well as with BuddyPress. The adaptation of Semiomantics scripts to WPMU and BuddyPress makes the result extremely powerful. We have published some of the amazing results namely in as much as visibility on Google is concerned.

During the next days we will report on the work in progress and about the way we build Ceguna, from buying the domain to delivering the finished installation to Joe Cettina for release.

Ceguna Hosting

Ceguna is hosted on a VSM host on yorGObiz’s dedicated cluster. This solution allows for a flexible and scalable solution in function of the actual needs of Ceguna. Info about yorGObiz products: contact yorGOhelp.

Ceguna WPMU and BuddyPress

To start we have loaded the latest version of WPMU tuned by Semiomantics. The framework is configured to work with sub-domains for each new blog and user. After testing basic functionalities we have loaded BuddyPress as well as the BuddyPress basic member’s theme, version Semiomantics as featured on YORGOO Media.

Ceguna Website and Design

For the time being we have not yet started with customization. We are loading a few themes to give the site quickly a professional look. All themes will be adapted and tuned by Semiomantics. Visible as I write the Semiomantics version of Atahualpa 333, which is a nice start for the new network.

Ceguna Configuration

Ceguna’s basic configuration is taken care of by Semiomantics. As we integrate more functions we will adapt the features to the customized WPMU and BuddyPress of ceguna. This whole process will take 10 days including testing and first performance records.

Ceguna Next step

During the next 24 hours we will test the functions and integration of BuddyPress; we will also start looking for quick indexing of Ceguna by Google.
