Talking of choices: what have YOU decided the new year should bring?
Have you designed it in your mind. . . what YOU wish to achieve and make happen . . . setting a time frame to it for orientation and accountability?
Agreed, with all that’s happening out there in the current economic climate and that’s still going to happen… constantly pulling us apart and in all directions, this isn’t an easy one. It’s ’scattering time’ and so easy to lose oneself within the chaos around us. Therefore, now more than ever it helps to keep a clear focus on your Purpose and your Life’s real priorities – from within. Now more than ever surround yourself with positive people that propel you into a creative and constructive mood and mode where you see Goodness and great Learning in everything that happens “to” you – be it Success or so-called… Failure.
Let’s see the bigger picture, the bigger meaning from the man who connected to so many grand ‘doers’ and ’shakers’ who all stood out by creating Greatness themselves – Napoleon Hill:
“If everything we attempted in life were achieved with a minimum of effort and came out exactly as planned, how little we would learn – and how boring life would be! And how arrogant we would become if we succeeded at everything we attempted.

And think of some huge responsibilities being taken right now under the most incredibly tough circumstances; we can witness it with our own eyes (… well, what the media feed us with). I am not only talking of exceptional ‘public’ leaders like Barack Obama… I am thinking of all the ‘normal’ people like you and me who – in one way or another – are going through enormous challenges and change, who have lost a loved one or are in the process of doing so, who have been stripped of some if not most of their possessions, and who still look forward with unshakeable Faith and Knowing holding on to their Dreams. There is no absence of Fear – but an Attitude of dealing with it and a way to manage our positive and negative potential. But as long as there’s a flame within, a new fire of Greatness can be lit:
“FAILURE SEEMS TO BE NATURES’S PLAN FOR PREPARING US FOR GREAT RESPONSIBILITIES”
Let this inspire and encourage you to paint YOUR picture for 2009 in bright and happy colours… and end 2008 on a high and promising note!
